I drew this one with conté crayon and pastels on green paper. She’s quickly become one of my favorites. (P.S. He told me I should look into figure drawing sessions because you can’t distort a figure until you learn how to draw one.)
I started this conté crayon drawing yesterday and finished it up this afternoon. I’ve decided that drawing is a lot easier than framing, so maybe I should draw more.
Trying to warm myself back up for some figure drawings. I haven’t been deep into it for over 11 years, but it must be like riding a bike. (I also picked an easy pose to get back in the groove, which I’m sure helped.)
It’s been something like a year since my last figure drawing. O.K. over a year. I wanted to see (again) if I could still do it, but I didn’t want to put too much pressure on myself. Here’s what happened.
